An Evening with Trisha Low, Stephanie Young, and Jo Barchi

We are thrilled to welcome poets Trisha Low and Stephanie Young to the shop for the Chicago stop on their bisexual bicoastal tour. Low and Young will be joined by local author Jo Barchi. A book signing will follow the program.

About Trisha Low:

Trisha Low is a poet and performer living in the East Bay. She is the author of The Compleat Purge (Kenning Editions, 2013) and Socialist Realism (Emily Books/Coffee House Press, 2019).   

About Stephanie Young:

Stephanie Young lives and works in Oakland. Her books of poetry and prose include Pet SoundsIt’s No Good Everything’s Bad, Ursula or University, Picture Palace, and Telling the Future Off. She edited the anthology Bay Poetics, and with Juliana Spahr, A Megaphone: Some Enactments, Some Numbers, and Some Essays about the Continued Usefulness of Crotchless-pants-and-a-machine-gun Feminism. Young is a member of the Krupskaya Books editorial collective.

About Jo Barchi:

Jo Barchi is a writer/editor/ice cream scooper living in Chicago. They are on the editorial board of Les Figues. Their work has appeared in Peach mag, Joyland Magazine, The Buzzfeed Reader, and The Shabby Dollhouse Review.
